The Problem

What's getting in the way?

Information OverloadThe constant stream of training advice online creating a lot of noise?
Who To TrustNot sure who to trust with your training?
No Time To PlanDon't have the time to organise your strength, cardio, running, nutrition and recovery?
Life Keeps ChangingNeed your training to change when work, travel and social commitments change?
The Solution

So, what do you actually need?

I start with what you want to achieve, your training history, any injuries or limitations, the time you have available and what your normal week actually looks like.

From there, I work out what you need and bring the different parts together into one plan.

Areas I Can Manage

Strength Cardio Running Movement Mobility Nutrition Recovery

That doesn't mean you need all of them. Some clients need strength and running. Others need help managing the whole picture. The coaching is built around what you need help with.

And the plan isn't fixed. Work gets busy. You travel. Something starts hurting. Your goals change. Your training should be able to change with it.

Tell me where you want to get to. I'll work out what you need to do to get there and take care of the planning.

About Me

Mark Robertson

I've spent most of my adult life in high-performance sport - first as a professional athlete and then as a strength and conditioning coach.

Since retiring from playing, I've spent nine years working in professional rugby, including roles with the Scotland national team, ASM Clermont Auvergne in the French Top 14 and most recently four years as Head of Athletic Performance at Edinburgh Rugby.

Writing gym programmes is the easy part of the job. The real work was understanding the individual and bringing together strength, running, movement, injury history, nutrition, recovery and the demands of their sport into a plan that worked for them.

That's the same approach I now use with my private clients - just applied to their goals, their body and the demands of their life.

The Process

How it works

01

We Talk

A conversation about where you are now, what you're trying to achieve, what's getting in the way and what you actually need help with.

02

I Work Out What You Need

Based on your goals, training history, injuries, schedule and available time, I work out what needs to be included - and what doesn't.

03

We Get To Work

I build your plan and deliver it through the coaching app, with regular communication, feedback and support from me.

04

We Review & Adjust

We track how you're progressing and adjust the plan as we go - based on how you're responding and what's going on in your life.

Get In Touch

Not sure what you need?

That's fine. You don't need to work that out before getting in touch.

Tell me where you are now, what you're trying to achieve and what's currently getting in the way. We can have a chat and work out if I'm the right person to help.
